Story of the week(end). ;-).

Saturday... I went and bought some new shoes (25 dollars).
Sunday... I played Ultimate Frisbee in my new shoes for a couple of hours
Monday... I went and worked out with Cassie... in my new shoes
Afterwards I went to the Rawleighs... in my new shoes
Then I went and played Tennis with Jessica... in my new shoes.
Suddenly! There was a huge blister on the back of my foot... and it still hurts and it's Tuesday. :-(.
The End.

I've been having a great week! How about yall?

Good, as they come.

Sorry about your foot. I guess new sneakers do that if you where them too much though.

I need new shoes - hoping to talk my mom into going to Goodwill soon...before Youth Camp, but the shoes I have (and ALWAYS wear) are so comfey and NEVER give me blisters (except the 2nd time I wore them for walking around Washington D.C. for an ENTIRE day...then I had a blister. I wish that, after they got to be so comfey, they would stay in good condition always - so you would never have to replace them!!!

So what's this I've heard on Tai's blog about you being on the Burnt Sandlewood team? I mean, we still love you and all... then again, perhaps it is unwise to speak for the others, since I really don't know who they are - but salmon?

Salmon rocks. Not to eat though.

shoes are a gift.
I think they give us less blisters than the ground would.

Well... then what do you do with it?

hahahahaha. wow, you sure take the whole "break in new shoes" thing seriuosly, don't you? heehee..

so what do these killer shoes look like?

i am not speaking to you.

*haha* just kidding.
the reason for that truth-in-jest statement would be that the slacks are moving up to NY. your church is going to be so blessed, let me tell you!

while ours will take years to recover. (ok so maybe that's a little dramatic...)

really, i'm so happy for all of you. just not right now. haha.

Delian said...

No way... it took me forever to figure out what you meant (since slacks wasn't capitilized, hehe). I was like... waaaa? But I get it now! I'll make sure that I thank God for His huge blessing for bringing us the Slacks... just remember, those who come to Corning are called to corning.

Shoes... I still have blisters... aaaahhh

As soon as I figure out what 'waaaa' and '(s)lacks' mean, I shall come up with a witty remark.

I say something like that to Gabriel when he's just gabbering on and no one has any idea what he's talking about I'll say. 'if I knew what you were saying I would give a crushing reply.'
similar i suppose.
