Sunset
It begins with the sun going down
Across the horizon dark orange and blazing red abound
The brilliance of dark and light clash
Like lightening in a storm they flash
Giving way to a dark mystery
Giving way to a dark fiery

At this point both dark and light come together
This is the moment I always treasure
Somehow it shows my thoughts and feelings
Yet just like the sunset they are fleeting
But while this view is in my sight
I will enjoy its magnificence and might

The dark background the red streaks
And the orange fiery sun makes
The story of who I am... of my life
Of the sin I was in... of all the strife
Of all the people I have hurt
Of all the ways I am dirt

Yet there is the Son that takes me
Back to the tree at Calvary
He took the hurt He look the night
And makes me have peace in His might
There are things I wish I didn't say
But the sun reminds me of the day
